What a tease...  :(

You no, your wife probably!  :P

Snow and a m3 sounds like fun to me!

Tell me did he get his donk in, or do I need to go to Adelaide for the weekend?

Norm, word of advice, careful with the rack swap from zionsville, they're for non airbag cars so you may have to do a couple more steps to make it work right but they're all pretty well documented on r3v/e30tech. I went with the kit from zionsville as well but the 2.7 turn lock to lock option. One of the best things I've done to mine, it really wakes up the steering.

Get his donk in?

Im not sure what that means Darky!! If youre asking if he had enough of course the answer mis NO! Poor bugger might be figuring how to convince the now new wife they really do NEED an e30 m3! He did have nice things to say about you so maybe you should go see him!!

Nick,
I dont have the zionsville kit. I just have an e36 rack that was in my parts car. It was already installed so I know it fits. I will have to bend the power steering lines apparently. I dont have any info though so Im a bit concerned about doing it right...  I wasnt the one who removed it as the new owner of number 2 brought it to a shop where they pulled the engine and the rack.. So i didnt get any pics or have a chance to see the setup...

Get his donk in?

Has he completed his engine swap, from m40 to m42?
He had a 318i and he brought a 318is that was damaged, he was in the process of swapping motors!

Cheers Rohan

Yes - it was great to catch up with ya Norm!
Yes - I need an E30 M3 now.
No - my wife doesn't think it's a good idea.
No - sadly my donk is not in yet. (Norm is on the the right track as to why - it will be back on track soon though!)

Your project is even more impressive seen in person mate, and has given me more inspiration in continuing with mine. That upholstery spray you're using is really giving me ideas too - so simple!

So yeah come fly yourself to Australia and we'll have that barby at Darky's :p

Going to see how I could swing all that...Australia is so damn far!

Jay-Vee,
Keep working on your wife.. It took me about a year to get her to accept the fact I'd get an M3!!
There is always hope!
Thanks for the compliments!

Thanks Darky, I'll keep the offer in mind!

And yeah a trip along the great ocean road would be perfect - add in 3 screaming M42's and you've got heaven!

Which should I bring the M3 or the iS?  :P

What do you think - it would be, like 200$ to ship right?

E30's are small and light... ;D

M3 but postage would be interesting!😭

Certainly make coin when you sell it here though!🤑

If you can pick up a m3 vert, you could basically ask whatever you want.
Only 3 in this country!

You're welcome Rohan.. I didn't go into great detail but its simply where the face of the inner wheel is relative to the center of the wheel laterally.. I knew that but I ASSUMED because it was a style 5 wheel the offset would be the same...

Assume = (make an) ASS (out of) U (and) ME

Yeah I can certainly vouch for the fact that the black looks rather sweet against the red body compared to the tan...

Though I better post a pic to prove that I was actually there!! - I know its a little late but only just getting back to real life after the big trip...

This was Norm and I braving the minus-degrees to perv on the M3 - I was even lucky enough to be allowed to rev its nuts off in the driveway hehehe ;-)
Sounded awesome, would only be better under load too.

I don envy you at all right now with that dash wiring...
