Danny got the motor put the rest of the way together...

And the wheels came in today, cant wait to see how these look on the car but that will have to wait a few weeks for Danny to get the suspension work sorted.

I'm a little confused on the camber/castor plates.  It looks like in the last pic that it is set for toe and not camber?  I could be way off base, but was just wondering.

Tell your boy he does nice welds too.

there are adjustments for both toe and camber, one on each side..

here is a DIY for the kit.

i only posted 2 photo's because it seemed like a lot of the e30 guys know what it is and how to do it already... so a "how to" article was not in order..

pressing the wheels bearings in... the wheel bearing tool for the E30, is totally worth its money....

wheel studs from bimmer world, i really wish these cars came with wheel studs from the factory!....

Subframe going together..

Dan decided the old half shafts weren't worth putting back in the car, so we got new ones. The subframe also received the 4.10lsd, H&R race springs and the bilsteins as well as all new polly bushings from AKG.

And now going in the car.....

I ordered a full clutch kit from bav... They sent the wrong pilot bearing, so the motor had to chill on the cherry picker for a couple extra days......
the bearing bav sent is on the far right.....

the pivot pin was almost completely wore down.

now that the correct pilot bearing was in hand...

the shifter came from autosolutions.

Everything together

And now the motor getting reconnected to the car.

Latest update...

Here is making of new hydraulic lines for the Z3 rack.. i got the Z3 rack from bavarian recycling, and they ruined one of the hydraulic lines when they were taking the rack off of the donor car, i called them and then they sent me a pair of wrong hydraulic lines, so Dan wound up fabricating new lines... needless to say, i am not to happy with the the Z3 rack debacle... and the added work that Dan had to go though for something that was suppose to require minimal work...

Now on to the fluids. no telling how old this Brake fluid is....

Engine bay waiting for the intake.

how the car is sitting as of now.

Here is a video of the motor running and a walk around.
