It is not plug and play. We are working on a kit, but having trouble finding the proper connector to maintain the plug and play aspect. We will likely develop a complete kit that requires modification of the harness and could be done with a simple wire cutter/crimper.

Would that be of interest?

Yes, the E36 M42/M44 kit will be more expensive to produce and the price will reflect that. We haven't finalized the kit so we don't have a price yet.
