I made one for my friend audi coupe :) Weight about 2,5kg. Downforce depends from speed and angle ~3000N at 200km/h. It's not very dificult to make it. You can use radio controled model airplane or sailplane technologies and make it without molds.

Hmm.  I guess I should have thought about this sooner.  That wing is aggressive!  I like it though.
I have had a few ideas running through my head since I read your post the other day.  I will be sure to let you guys know when something comes together.

I will try to add some extra photos I have laying around on my computer.  Maybe I'll do it today as I feel like crap and I'm not good for much else right now.  I can't wait to see your pics of that build!
I ended up doing most of the work alone too.  You find little tricks to help you out along the way.  You know a tool or a brace or something to take the place of another persons hands.

Thanks, I am trying to get more pics of the car not sitting on a trailer or in the garage.
I'll email a guy right not that said he had some.  Thanks for reminding myself Tim!

i actually have acces to an e30 m3 parts car.  Thats where i got the front fenders from.  I can go anytime and take off the all the panels to make it look like an m3.  i also have a hollowed out m3 trunk lid.  The factory wing is too heavy.  i can get a more aerodynamic and lighter wing if i am patient.  Or if I make one  The only reason i might not do the m3 trim is because it adds a little weight, but i imagine tha aero will be better and the front/ rear weight balance would be better with it.  BMW had to do the m3 trim for a reason.  You know! ;)

I just have to find time to go and drill the spot weld off the car and install it on mine.  i have all winter, but I like not having to work on the car every weekend, plus my girlfriend will kill me if i do another month long build of working on the car every free moment i get!  I"ve got alot of things to take car of on the car this winter.  if i have enought time before the start of next season, i will probably do the m3 conversion. It'll be bad AZZ!
