i would say that its just the condition of the injectors then. Perhaps they don't flow enough for the m44, whats the fuel presure of the m44 system and what are the stock injectors rated at?

i think the difrence in that the old m42 injectors use the pintle-type and the new m44 uses disc with 4 holes. This result in diffrenc spray pattern and better atomisation off the fuel.

that looks about right. there is however also 19 lb ford injectors out of the 5L mustang that have the 4 pintle spray patter as well.

Hi, all that I can say now is that they have same impedance and same flow, but the diameter is different: the M44's are bigger diameter, and they are shorter to than a m42 injector. Do you have another manifold, or adapters, because the M42 injectors don't fit with m42 manifold and vice-versa.. bye

Impedance and flow I'm sure at 100%.. can't remember the exact numbers because I'm not at home now, but they are exactly same impedance and same flow. I had them connected and the m44 ecu gave not a error;)
I don't know about disa, but what tubes are you talking about? M42 inj aren't air shrouded... so what tubes?
