We prefer to sell with the coils. Finding reliable, used coils turned into more of a challenge as they seem to be hit and miss. I've also got a fair number of the wrong coil, and have received some that were the correct unit but failed. The boots are normally in pretty bad shape with used as well. We believe that the value you get with the new coils, boots, and a warranty make it the best option. PM me if you have more questions.

As far as the install time, it should not take more than 10 minutes and requires no drilling. All you need is a few simple hand tools and the kit includes instructions with diagrams and photographs.

i might pass 190 is getting there for me, i have coils i can get from a guy for 50$ shipped with 99k on them.

Id like new boots but cant afford the price of new....

Any chance of buying just a single coil? I purchased a new kit(hadn't been installed) second hand from a member here and one of the coil's mounting points didn't line up with the plate. It was like the two points for the screws had been flipped as they were only off by a couple MM.

buying e46 coils today.

however in the 1st pic in this thread there ae 2 different kinds of coils in that pic. mounting arms are a bit different and so is logo on top of them

The #1 coil needs to be modified to fit. Take a good look at the pics in the instructions.
