OK, now that I have the digital position readouts on my mill working I can start making some nice brackets. I got a hole saw too so, combined with a boring head & bar, I can make nice 40mm diameter holes instead of square ones.
Here is the oen I made today. It turned out well, the only think I need to change is the offset of the threaded holes on the bottom...they need to come further left about .9mm and up about .4mm...the coil bodies are contacting the valve cover. This will be corrected on all future brackets.
The cost will tentatively be $40 for the bracket and mounting hardware. Making the harnesses the proper length...that is your responsibility

. It is sort of a pain, but well worth it. I put a writeup in the DIY section for disassembling the connectors.

Oh, and do not be fooled...for those that have never used precision machine tools (non-CNC), it may look real simple, but I will not even try to explain how it isn't, even with digital readouts!
