Mark D EAT Chip SALE!!!
« on: April 05, 2009, 06:07:12 PM »
Hey guys,

I've been in contact with Mark D through e-mail in the last few days and he said hes going to have a SPRING CHIP SALE!

He said if 15 people order a chip he'll give 15% off.  But if its less than 10 people he'll give 10% off anyway :)

Just thought I'd spread the word ;)

Leo.

That's a great deal; I bought mine through a similar GB. Do it :). BTW I have the 93 octane version.

From his website, http://www.dsylva-tech.ca/

$229 USD, not sure if that includes S&H or not.

I've heard 2-3mpg, but obviously no personal experience.

Is this m42 only? Any chance we can repost this over at r3v for more exposure? I'm ready to buy today--the sooner the better.

That includes shipping.

No clue how much better mileage you get. 2-3mpg sounds reasonable.

The power gain from this chip (even just the 91 octane chip) is considerable. My butt dyno isn't very well calibrated to this car yet, but I took my dad (previous owner for 15+ years) for a ride and he was blown away with the difference. It's not just hype, this thing makes a real difference.

It's also cool watching the tach go off the end of the scale.

Yes, the MarkD chip is very worthwhile. I have the 91octane version and it almost seems as if my car is running smoother with the chip than when it was stock.  Well, I have an intake cam, so maybe that is the reason.

so who's organizing the group buy? i'm in for a 91-octane m42 chip.

Sure, you can create a thread on another forum if you like.
To keep track of how many are interested, it's probably best to only have one list so I'll start it here, but if it makes more sense to have another for members of another forum, then go for it.  Please add GB-M42club or GB-R3V in the comments when you order as I like to see where the orders come from.
During my last big Thanksgiving sale, I sent a discount even to people who just ordered from my site and were not aware of the sale and I'll do the same now also.

Here is the list, please add your name here if you are interesed, and also if you are one of the two who just ordered m423 chips.

I'll pick April 18 as the last date for this sale, but may extend it one more week if that's not long enough.

Mark

Hey guys in the UK we have 95 RON fuel standard and it's also common for 98 RON, even 99 RON (in Shell stations only) to be available.

I believe the AC Schnitzer chip takes advantage of 95 RON fuel, but I've not come across anything for 98 RON (we call it super over here).  Anyone have any info on chips suitable for 98?
