3 beeps in 50degree weather?
« on: March 09, 2009, 06:23:54 PM »
I always thought when you heard 3 beeps it was b/c there was a ice hazard on the roads, well its now about 50 and I still hear it occasionally.  Any ideas?

Either the sensor has gone faulty or the wire is splitting at the sensor and you will find it in one of the break ducts at the front

Hope this helps

It's been a while since I've heard the ice tone but isn't it just one tone and then the display flashes?

You sure this isn't the 15 seconds before the hour beep (MEMO button) from the clock?

On the multi-function clock and I think the OBC there is a button labeled MEMO. When selected, you will hear 3 beeps 15 seconds before the hour. Some people hate it, I love it.
