Well my supposedly brilliant engine made a clunk and a rattle from the timing case and stalled after 35 minutes of sweet running the other day. So, the timing case is coming off for inspection to see if anything is arie. I have the first section of my bracket designed, the next stage is to design the charger mounting face and from that the two triangular strengthening sections.
The other
small thing that needs doing is I need to drop the rear sub frame so I can change the leaking fuel tank and also fitted mid braided brake lines, poly sub frame bushes and my 4.1 LSD.
Hi LPCapital
The thread size is M22, I then used a male to male adaptor to take it to 1/2" BSP (So a M22 -> 1/2" bsp). You will also need the oil pressure valve as shown
HERE. I fitted the plate because I fancied relocating the oil filter, not sure why just did lol! However using the unions I used (not sure how much tighter they could be with out restricting flow) meant that they would've hit the alternator any way, it just so happens I was moving it so it wasn't a problem.
Regarding functionality it was just get the lengths right and it together and there you go. Where I fitted it over there I think I worked out I needed an extra 300ml of oil for the pipe work and all that jazz so worth buying an extra 1L bottle of oil.
I may add an oil cooler at a later date if the oil starts getting too hot.
