I would diconnect lower radiator hose and start flushing from the expantion tank with a garden hose filling the system with water, also flush the radiator. remove the thermostat to see if any plastic bits are stuck in there and disconnect all the waterhoses. Basically flush any hole as long as possible. If you really want to be safe you should take the head off........
And always buy the metal bladed waterpump. The plastic ones, which are widely spreath through ebay are no good and gives many problems. On another car (not mine thou) the inner shaft was broken off and the blades couldnt spin, burning the head...

Thanks Froos, flush out the system and radiator like you suggested for hella long  :D got it all out {hope} can't really take the head off it's the only car I  have to get work, but will keep a eye on the temp gauge, got the good water pump too and changed the thermostat ... test drove and temp was steady got the laser temp reader to the head and it was same temp all the way around so far so good.

PS>
I haven't put back the fan or the fan clutch on it, rev's up quicker, is there a problem if I don't put it back on thanks...
