Where to tap them?

Show me some pictures of your set up please, this is my current hang up.

easyest place for oil is the oil filter cap ... if you fuck up ...just get another cap

Is that for the drain or for the pickup?

I'm guessing for the pickup I'm going to HAVE to tap into the pump?

This is where i picked up my oil from, had this T-peice made up, as you can see one end is the oil pressure switch, one end is a short hose going to the original oil switch position, the third end goes to the turbo.

The oil return line i have tapped into the block, did this becasue i was not sure how high the oil level sits in the sump (you MUST tap into a point higher than the oil level) so it is garanteed to be high enough here. I have since removed the copper tube and now run a high temp oil resistant hose from the turbo down. With the copper tube i couldn't get a good seal and it always leaked.

The water you can pick up from under the throttle body, u can see the hoses comming from the turbo and going underneath that area.

I think the best pickup for oil feed is the oil pressure check bolt underneath filter canister.
I'd run the hot oil through an oil cooler, then to turbo, then to sump.

But id tap the return fitting MUCH higher than pictures above. Maybe even on intake side.
With the angle of engine install, i believe the oil level will be above that height at static stance, let alone during cornering.
From my experience, that setup will likely chew oil past the turbo seals, and aerate the sump supply.
The benifit of going top mount is that you can get a good oil drain, unlike bottom mount and the need for a lift pump.

pictures are not that great ... sorry! ... I like to keep thing's simple ... you can run you oil drain into the very top of the oil pan and you will never have problems... when the car is runing the oil in pan get's lower then some people might think... I also don't fill my oil too the top line of the dip stick for insurance but I do get it close... if your doing top mount turbo you will defenetly want water and a oil cooler ... Another reason I didn't like runing the oil line behind the oil filter housing is if you ever blow the seals on the turbo you can just take the oil filter cap off and remove the feed line and put a NPT plug in and make it home without a smoke show
