Fuel pressure, look at the "mess under the intake", Tune up (Ignition system, maybe an o2)

OK the mess under the intake? do I spray looking for vac leaks? Or is there one hose that is more likely to be the one? How do I check fuel pressure with out special tools? i will check cap/rotor and replace plugs this weekend.

There isnt a cap/rotor, its direct ignition. I've heard coils rarely go bad, instead of buying new plug wires for 100+ dollars and coils for 200+ dollars id recommend the COP kit. Checking fuel pressure should be the last thing you do, all you need is a fuel pressure gauge and i believe that autozone rents them for a deposit. Hose wise.... well normally all those hoses crammed under the intake get alot of cracks in them. Check out http://www.m42club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2742
