Oil catch can

has anyone on here used one between the valve cover vent and the vacuum hose under the intake? and if so have you had any problems with it?

it just seems like a good idea to prevent the oil from going into the intake and clogging it up with burnt oil.

Yeah, a few people have done this, and if I remember correctly, they used an air compressor filter inline between the crankcase vent and the intake.  I'm thinking it might be in the "mess under the intake" thread?  Someone also posted a link to their website and they had a mitsubishi evo or something and the catch can definitely caught a fair amount of oil.

P.S. Got the valve cover safe and sound. Thanks!

thanks for the help. i checked the "mess under the intake" thread and found out it will work fine. the inline filter seems like a pita though, as it will clog pretty fast. you can get a catch can kit from ebay for like $30, so i might do that.
