Author Topic: Adjustable front camber plates (Read 9998 times)

So I'm looking for buying adjustable camber plates for the front. I would like any advice where to look for those. I checked places like turnermotorsport, flyingbrick, bmw2002.com, and I know the prices over there. If you know any other place please let me know. And if you're running any kind of those please put some picture and tell me your experience with them.

there are some nice camberplates for the e30 m3, should fit to the 318is e30 !?

these look pretty good! Can you tell me something more (how much of a negative camber they allow, can they be used with original diameter springs and shock perch?) and off-course can they be made again

and if you can put some picture of your car with them, showing the maximum negative camber they allow? thanks

Will take some photos later.. But I didn't really dial in lots of camber.. It didn't really need that much -ve camber upfront for my E30's suspension setup as I have put in a pair of custom made lollipops for increased caster amongst other tweaks. It's also limited by the spring perch, so next mod is a pair modified spring perchs..

I just saw right now that you're from Malaysia, I don't know what currency you're using, but can you tell me how much in dollars those cost you to be made? And if they can be made and send yo the states. As I see I'm not the only one interested. And off-course I'm waiting for some pictures, thanks!

The shipping costs would probably offset any savings over the sets we can get in the us. The seller also said he didn't design it for lots of camber, I am looking for the most possible camber, so I am no longer interested. Anyone know which camber plates available in the US offer the most camber, and how many degrees of negative camber can be dialed in?

why don't you tell me something more about yours? I'm originally from Bulgaria, so shipping from Lithuania to Bulgaria, isn't gonna be expencive. Or I also has lot's of friends in Germany which is even closer...

I think I don't want more than -1.5 or -2deg of negative camber.

The plate is 10mm thick D16T duraluminium, 36mm Spherical bearing (as I remember), stainless steel nuts and bushings, stainless steel bearing carier.
Mounting holes have two aditional holes each and if you want you can mount it in such way that you will get not only bigger camber, but also caster.
Design was tested on the COSMOS, and evrything should work fine with high load in serious racing events.

You will nead more camber if you building you car for racing events or something like this. Group A M3 E30 had -3 in the front, and -2 in the rear with very stiff suspension. Of course a lot depends from tires and track.

Nice piece of work... Are you running on coilovers or stock struts + stock spring perches?

I am running now stock suspension, coilovers and camber plates ready to be fitted. I am waiting answer from SKODA dealer, then I will get my new daily car Skoda octavia RS combi and only after that I will fit cilovers to my fighter.
