Hi all,
I was trying to install a set of PowerFlex front control arm bushings tonight and ran into a hick up.
As you know, Powerflex FCAB are two piece design. One piece goes onto the CA, and the other piece is pressed into the lollipop, and the two piece are mated together.
I cannot get my lollipop to line back up to its bolt holes after this install! I am confident that both parts of the bushing are fully seated, but it seems like I am still 1/8" - 1/4" out, and the whole bushing set up seems to be too long causing the lollipop bolt holes to line up too far aft.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Am I an idiot? Is it bad tolerances on the part of Powerflex? A bad batch? THey already mislabelled the right bushing for the left and vice versa, so I am not suprised if they totally crapped the bed on this. I cannot find any info regarding similar problem online.
Thanks for any insights..
Regards,
Lincoln
