oil filter housing-block torque?

Sorry for asking -- can't find it either by searching forums or by perusing Bentley.  I'd assume 9 ft-lbs or so (like everything else attached to the block and head it seems), but it's leaking now and I'd like it to not be leaking after I finish installing a new gasket ;)

IIRC, that is correct - in that area, anyway. I don't think I torqued mine when I reinstalled it, just gave it the 'good-n-tight' spin.

You replaced the o-ring, right?

I haven't done it yet.  Just to be clear, I'm talking about the 6 or so bolts that fasten the housing to the block.  I have the gasket, but the only o-ring I was aware of is at the canister lid.  Is there another one?

edit: I see what you're talking about now -- realoem no. 8 on the relevant diagram.  Damn, wish I'd ordered that.

Yep, that's the one. Mine was leaking from that, the gasket was fine.
