One of my radiator mounts needs to be re-welded.

What do I need to disconnect? I know the battery, what else?

if it was me i would disconnect the battery and put the ground as close to your weld as possible so the electricity doesn't go another path be for it makes your arc. I'm assuming your are going to mig it? I'm not sure if there is any other things to disconnect.

yup thats all...if you disconnect the negative on the battery you don't need to worry about where you place your ground, but it is always a good idea to keep it as close to your weld spot anyways. If you have the ground strap right next to your weld spot, you don't even really need to diconnect the battery.

thats what i was thinking but just to be safe take off the batt.

I have been bad and never disconnected anything. I always just made sure the ground clamp was as close as possible to the work site.
