Yup, Schrick does only 256's for the M42 as far as i see. The cams are in Germany.

I think I read somewhere that those cams are more or less shourtened e36 M3 cams. MM has some more extreme ones, but I think they require different tuning.

If youre saying that the schricks are shortened 6 cylinder cams, then i can tell you that is not possible, the lobecenters are positioned completely different on a 6 cylinder compared to a 4 cylinder

The 4 cylinder has a lobe for each 90-degree

The 6 Cylinder has a lobe for each 60-degree

But the Schrick M42 cams are reground BMW Cams.

What I meant was that the lift/duration was similar, not that they were the actual cams, but cut off.

Are the schrick cams they sell on koed the real deal, or is it fake?

What is the lift on stock cams?

What does "10,4mm and 1,2mm" mean? Is that the lift? I'm not sure what that last number is.

The most important thing to find out about the cam is at what degree it is 10.4mm and for what duration. Give me some more specs if you can, compare it to stock, and we'll see if they are worth the money.

Max lift = 10.4mm @ 110° ATDC (After TDC)
Lift at TDC during overlap = 1.2mm

These numbers will not tell you much, different cams with the same data can have different lift rates. This cam might lift 4.6mm @ 65° ATDC. While another might lift 5.7mm @ 65° ATDC. (random picked numbers, for illustrating a point)

I'm a bit suprised you ask what the numbers mean, when you wrote this line above:

Here is a comparison between stock intake, and Schrick intake:
