OK.
The M42 does semi-sequential injection AND batched injection (fires pairs of injectors, or it fires all 4 at the same time). It will do semi-sequential injection once the motor has started (NOT during cranking, it is batched then) and all sensor inputs are reading properly. If the cam position sensor ("cylinder identifier") fails, it goes back to batched injection. So, what dies this have to do with you?
Well, if everything is operating normally, you can pull the injector signal from the 2 pairs of injectors. Run them through the "gate" on a FET to isolate them from oneanother so they don't cross-fire eachother. That way you can get your 4 injectors to fire every time one pair does, if that is what you need. The only problem is at startup...depending on how fast your controller's measurement rate is, it might trip-out with both sets of injectors firing nearly simultaneously. Then again, maybe not.
Anyway, if you need some help with the FET part let me know. It is relatively simple to use them once you know a little about them.
