Hello guys, wanted to ask what is the ~price for a wide band oxygen sensor that will fit our cars,
some p/n or model number would be of help,
and what's the best/easiest way to log the A/F ratio from it.

I'm currently runnig with stock motronic.

OK, after intensive searching found one myself:
Bosch LSU4.2 bmwman91 uses it
Bosch P/N is 0258007057
Price on eBay US $64.90

Can someone comment on this thing are there alternatives?
How long did it last? Maybe bmwman91 can tell us :-) ?

You would also need a wideband reader to interpret the 5v signal.

Yeah, you cannot just use the sensor. You need a controller for it...it is significantly more complex than the narrow band one we use stock. The LC-1 is by far the best deal in existence right now. I run it myself.

it workt perfect on the car i was tuning, havent used it on the m42 yet.
you can conect the controller to a ecu.

True. It has 2 analog outputs (both fully programmable). One is set to emulate the stock narrow-band sensor when you receive it. I think it is set to run a little rich personally, maybe for safety/liability on their side. I used their free software to lean it out a little bit so it would run at 15:1 in closed loop instead of the 14:1 their settings had it running at. That is ~7% less fuel in closed-loop mode! Damn the LC1 is fun!
