Got to hear the RS4 start up and redline at school today *drools*
Don't even get me started on that. I rode in a RS4 on a very short auto-x circuit with a pro driver last summer. I was under the impression that I was going to drive it.
Audi made a HUGE mistake on their website for the Audi event that told anyone that attended could drive the RS4. They renigged on this and you could only get a ride in it with a pro driver driving it around 8/10's around a shortened auto-x course. Best I would do is get to pick one of the non S cars. I picked the 3.2 S-line Audi A3 DSG and ran the course. Of course they say you can push it but they always end up yelling at you if you really push it like normal auto-xers.
The Audi Lifestyle events are really great to go to if you have to bring your gf or wife.
Last year they had a lot of gourmet dishes, cooking classes by the top chefs, liquor and wine, massages, internet access, home stereo demo, Leman's R8 car, the $5800 optional Bang and Olfusan demo, New Q7 test drive, etc. ALL FREE.
