OOO BBS RX, what's the largest tire size that you can fit on those without rubbing?

Depends on the tire you run really, that and how low you are. Can't say for you really, just make sure you have the right sized tire. Google Miata Tire Calc and that will give you the right size depending on what you go with, 16 or 17"

Bump of justice.

15x7" CSi Style 32's
225/50/15 Falken Ziex 912's

At the time I had no rear seats and no passenger seat.

Where did you get those rims? I tried doing a search but can't find em. I love the look!

Haha whatup kid.

To answer your question on the wheels, you won't find a set. They're really stupid rare. I've only seen 3 sets ever, including mine, and one set only had 3 wheels to it.

Back in the day, TRD called on CSI to make them 3 piece wheels and others for Toyotas. Luckily older late 80's Toyotas had lower offsets than they do now. Here's a brochure:

Sadly I thought these were 16x7" but the guy was measuring from the outer lips, not the inner like he should have. They came in 17x8 too! I wish I had those...anyways onto some pictures...

Newer pictures from two days ago. I took off the tape on my front bumper since I thought my painter was going to do it, but he flaked out AGAIN...so I wait until another day, or another painter comes along.

And as for future plans, I just don't have the car as a priority right now. I need to be in a job that can actually support my modding habits. I'd really like to go all out and restore this E30...but after alot of talking with everyone, it makes more sense to have an E30 M3 because of appreciation rates.

I'd rather restore something that I could get my money back from, right? We'll see.

I do have an M-Tech II kit (sans rear wing), but I am waiting on one last piece, one of the sidepanels is missing. Its a crazy story too, a guy found it on a junker in Florida, US panels (with sidemarkers), and the really crazy part is that it was on a 318iS. Not a cabrio.

The rear valence has a cutout for only ONE exhaust too, so I knew it was 318iS specific. Pretty crazy.

My plan was to paint the whole car and do all the subtle bodywork changes I wanted, including no doorlocks, etc...and then add the kit as well. But my OCD tells me to replace my bent up hood, fenders, etc...so it adds up. I have a list, but can't justify spending that much.

Also, M-Tech II E30's look oddly shaped with 15" wheels, so I'd have to go 16 or 17", so I have ideas for that too. If I do end up getting a better job, I'll either fix this one up right and have a daily too, or get an E30 M3 and restore it.

So thats all for now folks.

your car looks great, those rims are like doc maartens for E30s...

Is that a cap on the antenna or rather a cap that removes the antenna?

Neither, just bought a new antenna mast and seal. The 318iS had black mast tops and seals rather than chrome.

Interesting...mine is chrome :) Guess mine was replaced!

I want to get rid of the bloody thing, or get a Z3 one.

Your car looks great, but it needs a wax badly.

My antenna is chrome as well. I though about going with a z3 one because I had to replace it last month, but I don't want to drill a hole in my roof and I really don't want to have to deal with all of the rewiring. Now I have it on a switch so that it only goes up if I am actually listening to the radio. With the ipod plug, that isn't very often...

Yeah my radio doesn't work, so I just pulled the fuse out of the fusebox for the radio. Never comes up anymore and I like it that way.
