« on: February 01, 2007, 01:02:50 PM »
So I've looked in two bentleys and found nothing as to what the tolerances of some parts.

1) piston space from wall

2) all crank tolerances (rods, main bearings, play)

Thanks guys.

Here you have the specifications directly from the BMW TIS (Technical Information System)

Sorry, i only have this available in German, but if you spend just a few minutes with it i'm sur you will be able to identify what you need.

But here you have some translations:
General:
 * Stufe 1 = First oversize
 * Gelb = Yellow
 * Grün = Green
 * Weiss = White
 * Kurbelwelle = Crankshaft
 * Lager = Bearing
 * Spiel = Play
    (Kurbelwellenlagerspiel = Crankshaft bearing play)

Img 2:
 * Kurbelwellenführungslager = Crankshaft guidebearing
 * Pleul = Connecting rod

Img 3:
 * Kolben= Piston

I hope this helps you!
