There is lot of projects here, but very few or no dyno charts of them?

Do you know any links to dynoed m42's?

Hey Frankie, Not sure you have seen these yet but here are some links to some of the charts I know about.

There are lots of dyno charts out there for M 42 cars that are stock like,
Ove's site http://home.no.net/ovekvam/
BMWman91's site  http://www.e30tuner.com/
BP's site http://www.esatclear.ie/~bpurcell/
There a few on this 318 project car part 1 and 2 are stock, but part 3 is on the Supercharger M42.  http://oak.cats.ohiou.edu/~kramere/downloads/GRM_bimmer_2.pdf

There are dyno's on all the spec 30 cars { Most of them are 6's } http://spece30.northamericanbavarianracing.com/

Hope this helps

Sadly no :( It was just to see where the car stood. I might dyno again sometime this year with A/F

Stock M42 w/ebay chip

I got the AF graph as well, but I cant find it at the moment.  The guy running the dyno said that it was tuned for power from the factory. The A/F was ~13:1 all the way across.

I kind of want to dyno with my current setup (Cams, MarkD chip, and K&N) but I think I'll wait until the stroker is done sometime this summer.

what kind of work?

Motor:
Custom 8:1 pistons (JE Pistons)
Cometic steel head gasket
whole engine machined and balanced (new bearings seals etc)
Garrett GT2871R turbo (running 20 psi max)
3inch exhaust all the way through
lancer evo front mount intercooler (unsure which evo model)
Wolf3D engine management
M&W igniter
oil catch can
custom turbo manifold
standard rods
standard cam
standard valve springs

Driveline:
8 bolt LSD 3.91 (prob change to 3.46 soon)
custom 4 puck clutch disk
custom fitted Ferrari 355 pressure plate
318i flywheel
316i E36 gearbox (cheap fix for now, first one blew after 80Km's)

Others:
greddy boost controller
boost gauge
E36 electric radiator fan

To Be Fitted:
NOS system

Currently the car is putting out 213Kw at the wheels.

a few days ago i took the car to the drags and the best time i could
run on 20psi and my stock tyres was a 12.9sec (quarter mile)
i think i can bring that down a touch more.

i haven’t got great up to date pics of the car yet, i just never seem to get
around to taking them....

why would you go to a 3.46 rear end?
how is the turbo lag on this thing?
and what kind of LSD do you have in it?

A 3,91 gets real short when you have serious power,
a 3,46 would probably fit the bill perfectly,
