Nice Skid
My finger hurts looking at yours!
Love the materials list, beer!
Did that m62 have a electric clutch? Mercedes do I recall.
Will there be uneven flow between cylinders with 1&2 getting the most?
What level of boost are you going for? Gearing for m62?
What advantages will the wide and sensor give you I have mine hooked up to a guage pod, only.
But there is 2 outputs?
Cheers Rohan

Yes electric clutch, will wire to 12v switched. Im not sure about uneven flow between cylinders but the downing Atlanta manifold is pretty much the same as my design (a log) with no velocity stacks.. I used the velocity stacks to try and get the intake runners a little longer and smooth out the flow. I am no flowbench but it seems right in theory....  Shooting for 5psi boost with the stock Mercedes pulley..  Plan on using the narrowband emulator portion of the wideband to replace the stock narrowband 02 sensor, then use the wideband to run a gauge for better tuning.. Very cool! I like how you made use of a lot of the stock intake parts, and the generous amount of free space in the E36 engine bay. I have always wanted to try to do an M62 retrofit.....always-on-demand boost is a nice thing!

I wish it was in an e36!! They have tons of room in the engine bay! It is in an e21 320i,  NO room! It fits like a condom nice and snug... I even had to go to a remote brake fluid reservoir the intake sits right on top of the master cylinder.... Skid

Well it looks like i f'd up and bought a blow off valve and not a bypass valve. I did not know they were different. I guess a bypass valve is open under vacuum but a blow of valve is not??? I figured they would both be open under vacuum.. maybe someone can verify? Since the supercharger will be making boost at idle it needs to have a bypass to send the boost back into the intake. The blow off i purchased is a recirculating valve, and opens with vacuum but im not sure how much vac it takes to open it. Will there be enough vac at idle to keep it open? This shit is confusing. A mind is a terrible thing to develop without an education!... Skid

Doesn't the M62 have an internal bypass that used engine vacuum to control?

The mercedes m62 uses the electro clutch to some how turn on and off the compressor for bypass.. I think..
I got the proper bypass valve today fron a audi 2.8 turbo.. the wrecking yard gave it to me free.. it should work just dandy!!!......skid

From what part the red one is building? A e30 intake pipe or e36 one?
Thinks
