Which hose fits in the bottom hole under the intake boot closest to the throttle body.  Sorry, I know it isn't easy with no photo, need to take one tomorrow.

I know where you are talking about.  On my car its sealed.
The valve cover line goes to the hole closest to the afm.  And the icv connects to the bottom of the tb.  No clue what that sealed one was for.

That extra inlet on the intake boot? That's for the nitrous fogger.

Yup, the hole closest to the throttle body is supposed to be plugged. I am not sure if anyone knows why that is there.

I believe it is for the E36 M42 engines and the E36 may have an extra hose.  Right now I have it plugged with an extra oil sensor I had lol.

My best guess is that the boot moulds were made for plumbing with or without the heater plate.

To the above comment, I have an e36 m42b30 and I was messing with my oe intake boot and I can confirm we only have 1 hose bung.

You got a 3.0 4 cylinder? Only Porsche would build something like that! LOL

Anyways, the original question was regarding an e30 M42. Slightly different intake and happily has two teats on the underside. ;)
