And just to think....All this just to clean out the A/C ducts....lol

Actually my dash was so bad you could lose things in the HUGE cracks. Have had an extra laying around for almost a year, but knew it was going to be a bitch ( not to mention this is not a good Florida summer time project) so I put off until I knew I had ample time..Hopefully will post pics if I ever get it back together....lol

Well....Finally back together...Actually was done last weekend, but too busy to snap a pic....lol...
What a pain to get everything back in....Wiring is the least of the problems. Trying to wrestle the new dash in place is the worst...
Guess now I can move on to the suspension...

How long did it take from start to finish?

I've been wanting to replace mine but it looks like a nightmare.

Took a few hours to disasemble everything and would have taken around 5 or so hours to put it all back, but I also removed the a-pillars and recovered them with new vinyl...To get those out you have to remove the overhead console which also requires the removal of some of the sunroof trim pieces.
Overall it is not that bad of a job. Most of the wiring in the first pic (and all the dangling pieces) are all pretty much "plug and play". It can easily be done in a weekend though. One thing I did while I had the dash out is run new speaker wires (the gold wire in the first pic).

There are a couple of differences as this shows a non airbagcar. Just
make sure you unhook your battery so there is no problems with the airbag.

I'd take out the front windshield when doing this I'd think it would be easier that way. Plus the fact that our windshields are easy to remove and install why not
