I'd see if a hydraulic shop would do it too.  It's just a flanged pipe with nuts.  In a pinch I'd consider some rubber line secured with hose clamps until I could track one down.  It's not under pressure, I'll bet it'd last a while.

Latest curse is the with the rain the other day and freeze overnight, the trunk lock went crazy and wont open.  That was essentially how I've been locking my car.  So after playing if the trunk lock for 45 min in the am deicing, spraying the shit out of it with lube, I gave up and unlocked the drivers door.
Then today, I was leaving work, and found out my battery died....And I cant get into my fucking trunk to jump the battery!!!!

There's a terminal on the firewall in the engine bay that you can use to jump the car.  Sorry to hear

I do not know what is the thread there but you can try hydraulic shop so they probably can produce you one. Try also official BMW dealer.

MW Dealer and they gave me a discount so just ordered it and the clip to hold rear half shaft not on hub for $42.

So got things sorted out this weekend w help of mech friend in a heated garage.  Being in heat made a huge difference and a whole lot less cursing.  Sprayed all the gunk out of the rear trunk latch...there was a ton of it. Got it working again.

Hoping this is the upswing on this car.  We completed the clutch and brake lines and rotors recently. Diagnosed a nonbleeding passenger front caliper. Seems to be driving great again now.  I love this car again. haha

and now add a replacement alternator to the list on the 318is.
Took the bad one to Autozone and I have never seen an alt fail so quickly on their machine?!
It spun up for maybe 15 seconds before it went all FAILED.

Guessing rectifier? I might try to rebuild it?
I had a spare and it tested fine and I picked up another spare from Spyde25 that's on its way.
