nice. dave rebello built the engine in my 240z. 320hp out of an unstroked 2.8l Z engine that will rev to 8800rpm. it just screams. No finer engine builder in the world. Very excited to hear he's done an m42. might have to pay him another visit. nice 318is

I have about the same idea :P

Dyno chart (numbers are crank/bhp):

The front struts are modified to restore proper roll center. Just like the group A spacers on the M3.

Were the dyno numbers interpreted from a chassis dyno (RWHP * some factor for drive line loss) or engine dyno measured at the flywheel?  If Chassis dyno, what factor to get to flywheel power?

I assume its an engine dyno. The file name I got suggests its done at Robello.

I cant say for sure though.

Thanks.  Can ask for more reliable numbers than that.  I'm a bit surprised at the shape of the torque curve with the stock intake manifold.

It looks like a great car and a lot of fun.  GLWS
