Yep...had the same thought myself about the silicone intake.  An alu hoop with the ICV vac fitting (and perhaps a mounting stud for the ICV clip) and two hoses...one from the AFM to the hoop and one from the hoop to the TB.  Along with some nice stainless t-clamps, of course.  A kit like that would play nicely with a turbo manifold as well.

If 5 people buy kits the price is £120 (GBP) + postage, this is a saving of £25 (GBP).
If 10 people buy kits the price is £115 (GBP) + postage, this is a saving of £30 (GBP).

I was tempted to keep some of the pre-heater, but I ended up just deleting the whole deal.  I also cleaned out the intake, replaced all the fuel lines (with OEM 8x13 BMW high-pressure rubber line) & swapped in some 4-hole yellow top "Ford by Bosch" injectors.

I'm still waiting for a response from the seller about the short ICV hose before I post a full review.  The kit isn't complete from what I'd guess...there isn't enough line to replace all the coolant hoses, only enough to do the vac hoses.  I'll go & take a look at what it contains; I'll have to guess about lengths as it's mostly installed.  There isn't a lot left over as the vac hoses are about the same length either way.

What color, you ask?  Why red, of course!  I posted these pics on my profile, but here's a link.  Sorry for the dirty hoses, haven't cleaned them yet.  I hear WD40 is the ticket.

Hey dave is it me or is your belt for your alternator installed on the wrong side ???  Pic# 9

It's a Dayco ribbed belt.  They're notched on the inside & ribbed on the outside.  I have no idea why.  I suppose it's for her pleasure?

ha ha thats a good one... i guess its reversable if you want to go thru the hassle of taking it off.... mines broke the other day and it was a pita so unnecessary to take the power steering belt in order to get to the fan, alt belt..
