Is it possible to remove cloth from seats withouth damage and wash it in wash machine?
Did anyone did it?

There is a thread floating around in which a member (from Florida?) reupolstered his entire car, turned out great, probably likely you could remove although I would be skeptical of machine washing...

That fabric is not meant for a washing machine. There are a lot of fabric cleaners that will help it out tremendously without dismantling the whole seat.

If that didn't work, I might be tempted to overhaul the seat...while that's going on (fixing welds, replacing pneumatics & trim, etc) I'd pull the hog rings & get it dry cleaned. It'll turn out better and likely not get destroyed. With either method, I'd e sure to clean a sample first just to be sure. New covers are still available from BMW, but they're about $500 per seat.

DesktopDave I think you are right, my original cloth is in good condition and I'll go with some fabric cleaners, but I just want them to be closest to new condition, so that's the reason why I thought about washing...

I imaging you could hand wash, remove, soak (moderately) and hand scrub with carpet cleaner or something similar. You could also treat with scotch-guard and help keep it in it's newly shiny shape for a while longer.

I just want to throw in some recaro buckets, replace carpeting and see if I can cut some ABS plastic for door panels like I had on my jeep.

Post some pics if you attempt any sort of removal. Likely more than a few members would be interested in trying it.

I give up for now to remove my fabric, I'll use some fabric cleaners, and see how it will look...
