Looking for the BEST write up on changing my head gasket and any other work that would be best done at the same time.

Thank You in advance for your help and time.

I did a COP conversion, didn't figure it needed a write-up.  Who's bracket do you have?

The only real trouble I had was getting it all to fit just right.  First I fitted the plate to the head (since I didn't have the correct "stand-off" shouldered studs).  One coil will have a mount ground off to fit the M42, that one has to go to #1 IIRC.

New NGK's, of course.  I'd strongly recommend a new gasket set for the cyl head cover as well, and a new cam sensor o-ring.

To complete the job I plugged the wiring harness into the coils first, then bolted the coils to the plate, then finally installed the whole deal in the car.

The only catch on this job would be firing order.  I've seen a lot of people try to plug the coils in to match firing order.  That's incorrect, the car will only run on two cylinders in that case.  Cylinder #1 (closest to the radiator) gets wiring connector #1.  Match the numbers & you'll be fine.

Not that I've seen.  It'd be a good idea on a web site somewhere though, you're right about that.

How about a write up for an alarm system install.  I've looked all over and I cant seem to make any sense of things.  I have a 318is e30.  Anything would help.  I located the central locking but was wondering where to hook up my wiring at? Pretty new at this but excited to get my e30 pimped out!
