very nice, it would be cool if you could make some more intakes.

videos?

Sry but no videos will be availible before a few months. Car is stored for winter :(

However, I'm working on putting a kit together, just like mine, but an upgraded version. It would have all the peices needed to build including a tuned chip, but NO s/c. The only reasons I would not include it is : it weighs 25 lbs, and i see no point of shipping it twice. and 2, a practicly new factory? rebuilt one costs 850$ or you can find a used one for a lot less money. option up to the buyer. (but has to be just like the one i have)

The kit is still in the project stage. If I see there is interest, I'll go forward with it. For more information, pm!

estimated price at this stage is 2300 can$ + YOUR supercharger , no tax, not fixed yet. As a price indicator, the DASC went for 3400+tx, usd. My kit will include important tuning/monitoring components NOT included in the DASC kit.

Thank you for your interest!

I don't speak about fluid dynamics in that manifold...
it's too slim to have that square form.before you start selling these you shoulf check INDIVIDUAL AFR IN CYLINDERSVIA 4 WIDEBAND SENSORS IN THE HEADER.then you'll see.

dasc manifold is not this slim and it's not square inside. Ever heard about vortex?

example, your is a lot more poor than this...:

I bet you have to work a lot to obtain a ready to sell product and optimize some things....

nothing against you, want to save you the hassle of customers screaming for blowing engines.

If you check there is space for intercooled version, don't ask, I know ;)

I agree with nuvolarossa, make some research(google) before doing something.

working on it, thanks for the heads up! might design a new manifold that will allow the use of an air/air intercooler.

As long as you are working on a more refined kit, I would suggest working on a part-throttle bypass sytem as well.

I am interested, even with the current design.  Keep me/us updated.

How are you driving the supercharger?  You still have A/C and power steering and all that?

She's driving pretty good! I need to keep an eye on the belt tension and looking to upgrade it to a double belt set-up. I'm using the P/S pump as my tensioner... pump is disabled (had issues with the system before the build) and A/C is not driven. With the double belt design, no A/C will be possible.

But with the single belt setup A/C is possible?

Could you try and get a clear shot of the pulley/belt setup?  I'm interested in doing an SC setup if I could keep the A/C, even if it means sacrificing my PS.

I can't get anything from the car at the moment, as it's stored for winter. but yes the single belt drive and A/C is possible. the crank pulley has 3 belts on it: 1 for alternator/water pump, 2 only a/c, 3 only p/s (and s/c). I think that it's better to sacrifice p/s (even iy you can technically keep it) but it will add some resistance and belt may slip early on the crank pully. Anyway the E30 318's drive fine without p/s.

Depending on your power goals and blower selection, belt slippage/tension will be an issue for single v-belt. depending on your budget, you could always look into a serpentine belt conversion to avoid those problems.

UPDATE: after a few thousand miles, some issues came up... the s/c belt streched and after re-tightening, boost level was up to 10 psi. 3 psi OVER so AFR a little tooo lean (but pulled reallly hard!) turned out that the belt traveled down the s/c pulley groove. just 1/8th on an inch down forces a lot more air in (oversized s/c). remedy: get a 1/2in industrial belt OR just stick with an automotive pulley...
next issue: alternator belt needed replacement, but couldn't loosen all the way since i have a bracket installed there. needed to pry it into the groove.

all in all, still very worth it! just a little heads up for anyone trying to do the same as i did.
oh and next move: intercooler with a tunable setup! (variable boost from strap tension!)
