yes they are s50b32 i had them from a previous car but you can get them from ebay, they wernt that hard to fabricate, just take out the centre 2 itbs cut the linkages down, machine the edges and make some brackets to bolt to head,i turned my fuel rail around and adjusted the fuel in/out lines.you also need to cut the air rail so you can use the sevo/idle valve and make some brackets to hold it all down,it sound alot but once you buy a set you will see it not to hard at all, will try get some pics.
what itbs you got and i take it no turbo yet
good to hear. can't wait to see how they all came togetherJesteramend: also forgive me for asking, but if not sticking a turbo on the engine, is there much point for ITBs? wats their significance?
dbilas. i have turbo + manifold + intercooler/piping, generally about 80% of what i need, but since even the ITBs are illegal here in the people's republic of california (that goes for turbo too), i'm debating just swapping to M50 instead... not sure.
is that coz of emissions?
yes. there are two parts to the smog test here in california- the "sniffer" part which actually measures how clean you are, and the "visual" part where they look to see if any modifications you've done are on the state-approved list. my car passes the sniff test fine (way under limits, actually), but i had to try 4 different shops before i found someone who was willing to ignore the ITBs.
Why are running a RRFPR if you are chipped and have bigger injectors?
How much boost you pushing?
What turbo is that you are using? Also do you have any idea how much power its putting out?I'd love to see a video of this thing running.
forgot to say its in this months performance bmw mag
