Lubro Moly in my car.  Good idea or bad idea?  I was going to try it.  Before I do I was hoping to get input from the board.  Remember, I break stuff! :D

Good products. I've used them in a lot of stuff. Particularly Diesel Purge.

According to what I read.  I was going to wait until I have a half tank gone and top it off for good mix.

Although I haven't used LM products myself, I've generally heard good things about them. Since we're on this topic... I was planning to use a bottle of BG44K which according to BG's website, "Safely, rapidly and thoroughly removes engine deposits in combustion chambers, intake manifolds, ports and on valves. It restores flow in fuel injectors and cleans the entire fuel system". It does what Jectron and Ventil Sauber do in one bottle/treatment.

Be sure to update us on how it turns out. Depending on the mileage, type of gas you pump, and any previous treatments, you may notice a difference.

Planned for this weekend.  One of the A&Ps here said to wait until the tank is low, pour it in, run it close to empty and then top off.  I think I will mix it into half a tank then top off.

I use Ventil Sauber all the time!  Good stuff.  :D

FL, you might consider replacing the fuel filter if it looks old or hasn't been replaced lately. Not sure if this needs to be done before or after the application. I'm thinking before.

I just started using them last month. So far nothing bad has happened, that's about all I can say. I don't get out to drive much more than city traffic lately and the city traffic here is fucking. horrible. I bought a bunch of the stuff in a kit from bavauto along with the engine clean and engine protect.  Don't know how well its working but it makes me feel good at least.

i tend to stay away to additives, I have seen what that shit does to cars and had to fix them because of it while I worked at the dealership. You get an engine with deposits or sludge buildup and put any kind of oil treatment in it, goodbye engine hello junkyard. Same goes with automatic transmissions, but those can be worse. If you have never changed your fluid (say you have 80000 miles on the original) then you put new fluid in, it will brake up all the deposits and ruin your tranny.
