-88 E30 325i M50 6spd turbo, 764whp
-89 E30 318i M42, 140hp COP conv. (E36 engine + gearbox, 3.73 188 diff)
-90 E30 318is M42 turbo, 240whp (sold)

As I know drain should above oil level in the sump.
E30 318is M42
E36 318is M44

Up and running! need some adjustment and a new clutch, slipping on 4th..

boost pressure 7-10 psi :)

Go for m20 flywheel with 1mm clutch preload (measurement made from untouched by friction disc surface to pressure plate mounting surface). Will help you handle some 250hp for one season :P

Will change to M20b23 flywheel, M20 starter, M20 pressure plate and a 6-pad sintered clutch disc.
Also a electric fan is on the list :)

Skip the sintered clutch disc and buy a Sachs '618 pressure plate instead and use a standard 325 organic clutch disc. Will hold much better and also better driveability. Maybe a bit more pricey but you won't regret it in the long run.
That's the setup I use on my 318is turbo, works great.
