just a note- when i did my e-fan setup, it was originally a volvo/e36 puller fan, but i installed it in the front as a pusher.
people commented that it "wasn't going to work as well" that way, because the blades are shaped to move the air in one direction. it seems to work plenty well for me; pushing the AC button results in the needle moving to the left immediately and quickly. probably just because it's way more fan than the car actually needs.
i like the functionality of repurposing the AC button to be the "auxiliary cooling" button, and i am very happy with the way the engine bay looks with all that room between the radiator and the engine. we had to go to home depot to get some thin pipe stock to make stand-offs with, and kragen to get a generic e-fan mounting kit, but overall cost (other than the fan) was $15 or so. looking at your shroud you might have to do the same, because the body of the motor may protrude past the mounting surface on the shroud. anyway if you have questions/want advice shoot myself or peerless a PM, we did the install at his shop on a friday night while drinking a bunch of beer
