pretty much brand new to this forum, and noticing a lot of intake plumbing discussion. I'm a car nerd, for sure. I've hacked and whacked with the worst of them. I've been obsessed at one time or another with turbo SAABs, turbo Volvos, & A1 Rabbit GTI's. we used to move our windshield washer nozzles to the turbo intercooler to squeeze (?)hp out of our shit. I guess the reason I've always wanted an M42 powered e30 was because things under the hood are pretty well sorted! factory individual coils, 16 valves, hydraulic lifters, 10:1 cr, forged internals, stainless exhaust header.. hell, my turbocharged SAABs only put out 150hp with a 2.0L & 16v heads and a LOT of extra weight!
I guess what I'm getting at here is we need to start thinking about 13:1 forged pistons and race gas.
