Bmwman91 has missed a few things, so will clarify:
s14 throttle bodies work terribly in the m42 as the bore spacing is all out so you have to plug up the exisiting injector holes and make a pita manifold for the injectors. if you don't do this the injectors will fire into the side of the inlet ports. to get it all nicely port matched to an m42 head is difficult too due to difference in size of ports + bore spacing. even when done its such a compromise that its probably not the way to go.
motorbike throttles are a better idea. have similar problems to the above due to bore spacing etc, they're also generally a bit insubstantial. the gsxr bodies are also all one piece, one's that have separate tbs that you can assemble are probably better cos then you can build a custom throttle bar etc and get them to mate to the m42 head better.
the dia. is often a bit small too, probably good for a standard car as will give nice throttle control, would have thought they have their limitations when you get modifying.
the gttechnic throttle bodies look nicely done, they would be great for track use, but they are useless for road use though.
Besides this, they will also require alpha-n fuelling as they are without an intake plenum. quite a good price at about $1100 without air horns, $1300 with.
think you'd be mad to use the gttechnic kit on a road car, when the dbilas setup (or mb the BMPDesign - never seen one) has to be the best option. I'm quite a fan of the dbilas kit for its ease of installation - it is truly bolt on, and looks pretty cool. but in comparison to my setup, there are such big sacrifices made in order for it to fit with all the stock stuff (AFM, airbox etc). If they had accepted that it won't fit with the stock airbox and AFM location, they could have designed the intake plenum and air horns to be much more effective.
mine are different again to all of these btw fellas!
for ref here's some pics of some various ITBs on M42s:
dbilas with alloy catch tank and soime other goodies (still on AFM though):

a decent setup on an s42 rep, not sure what this is:

my setup

i should get some better photos of it all mated together, a bit short of time at the mo though.
