Just made a roundtrip from Columbus to Texas. Also passed emissions in TX. Trip went w/o a hitch. Got about 30mpg going about 70mph the whole way. Pretty good for a 300k car!

One thing I did notice was the car bra I had on affected the mpg by decreasing it about 1! So I took it off on the way back.

I'm jealous...you have 30k miles on me...I just flipped 271k.

I'd say that waxing might get you another MPG...

well the odometer broke at 246k so it might have more, I'm just estimating 300k haha.

My speedo is on and off too. Haven't wanted to tear out the dash one more time, so I'm not sure what mine is either. At this kind of mileage I don't think prospective buyers will care. I sure don't. Amazing that these cars last this long.

When I consider buying BMWs I think that 100k is just getting broken in.

yeah, but I might think about tearing down the engine in another year or so for a rebuild.

I'm not sure. Its my daily so want to keep everything original and reliable with decent gas mileage.
