I had the H4's til I got my euro ellips (Bosch non-smiley)....I hate to say it, the H4's seemed a lot brighter (on low beam) then my euros although I am not sure what h1 bulbs are in mine now... they sorta have a blue tint...Wouldn't have replaced the H4's if it wasn't for a rock...
And I hear the Apexcone are not as good (quality wise) as the DDM slim ballast HID's...I think there are some writups over at r3v on them...I am planning to go with slims eventually in my ellip's with either the 4500k or 5000k...I do not want the "blue" ricer look either...Just some pure white blinding light....lol
And are you sure it is a crank seal leak? That is about the only place my M42 hasn't leaked oil...lol The last oil leak I just fixed was coming out of the oil pressure sender....Not from around it, but straight through it....Never would think an electrical connector could leak oil...
