Thankfully, I have a non-airbag 318iS (Oh Canada!) and I just did the Zionsville E36 rack swap.  Other than needing to massage the pump end of the high pressure line and the rack end of the reservoir line with a deadblow hammer to fit the new inlet locations, it went fairly smoothly.

Hi, Just wondering if you ended up trying an e36 exhaust manifold in the end? or whether you came up with another solution??
