Hi ther tom1.9

Just started on my z3 M44 turbo build.
My setup is:

M44 with Cometic mls 1,7mm gasget and ARP studs.
Standar internals.
Garrett GT 2560r BB turbo with modified intake housing from a cosworth.
going to run 10psi of boost (0,70 bar)
KdFi Megasqirt ms2 ECU bolt on.
Aeromotive fule presur regulator.
COP plate and NGK Iridium
Bosch 0280155811 350cc injectors. modified fule rail.
upgraded fule pump
bought a OBX manifold, the down mounted type. maybe build it to topp mounted in front of engine insted?
Singel mass flywheel from a 318is m42 e30 and gripforce stage 2 Clutch.
325 brakes in front with EBCgreenstuf pads and  slotted and driled rotors
Supersport black editon coilovers
Simons sports exhaust and ebay decat center section pipe. going to modify to turbo down pipe.
Cat Cams

Of course a Inovative LM-2 wide band Lamda

I am running the war chip om my car. its  a m43 8 valve engine but running on a ecu from m42 318is 282 93 mod i guess. this is a garbage project an just for fun and a learning experiense. link to a norwegian site sorry http://www.bimmers.no/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=144894

hi dos anyone know the hight of the m44 piston, from center of the pin to the top of the piston?
hawe a m43 8 valve 1,9 liter 83,5 mm crank and 85 mm piston want to bye a set of m44 maxsil pisons
the m43 piston has a piston hight of 30,20mm

can't remember, it could have been me. ther is a couple turbos. but the isn`t many 2liters if any out there. i paused my biuld for 1,5 years. beacuse of a 525 e34, sold i off last weekend. so now i am back to the E36 318is track build.
On the way to florida i may. going to buy some parts there,but trying to get some ideas what to buy. i want to use the turbo i have instead of bying a new one. nead the space fore other parts in the luggages. Max 2 x 50pounds per person

The m43 raw blok is almost the same.The blok isnt any narower. but front cover  ,under cover for the front ,sump is different etc. and it got difrent typs of oil tubes/squrts under the pistons. and missing 2 oil holes in the midel of the pistons 2 and 3. i guess the m40 loks the same.
i compeard a m42 e30 to a 316m43

Hi. haw a brand new Garret GT3071r 700382- 3
it has a ATP t3 A/R0,82 exsost housing and the 4" compressor housing.
 
Can i use it on my E36 318is M42 2,04 engine.
how wil the respos be?
when can i se full boost 4000rpm?
 
thinking og bying a new exsost housing with A/R 0,64 can this help.?:confused:

Bilding the exsakt same type engine 86mm and the m47 crank whith Garrett gt2860Rs and the ebay obx manifold.

yes the T3 60trim A/R 0,48 0,60 is a good choice.:p
i have the china manifold and it`s 1,8 mm thick. bad fitment. has to botum mont the turbo to use the manifold.
