Guys,

Anyone here using E36 M42 right hand drive Extractor ?

Can it be fitted into E30 chassis without any mods ??

AFAIK, E36 m42 left hand drive into e30 need modification on the extractor.

ps: Malaysia don't have E30 318is..... Only have e36 is form the junk yard.

oh thank god...

I think i shouldn't have any problem installing e36 box onto my e30.

I need to buy the aluminium shifter balancer too

I'm gonna use 87' 240 manual long shaft. hopefuly it can be fit as well.

Yes it's the pilot bearing.

I don't think that you can use the E36 slave cylinder shaft only as the complete cylinder has a different design on E36. I have a E36 gearbox in my 318is E30 and I use the complete E36 slave cylinder.

Do you have any issue with the prop shaft(long shaft) ?? direct fit by using
e36 front & rear long shaft ?

how about the GETRAG 240 from e30 1987 M20b20 L-jet engine ?  

can it be direct fit onto the M42 engine ? is the bell housing same design ??

I have one 95' e36 318is engine & 220 getrag manual transmission from a coupe chassis.

Before i transplant into my e30, i would like to check it out can the transmission & propshaft fits direct to my e30
