I have one 95' e36 318is engine & 220 getrag manual transmission from a coupe chassis.

Before i transplant into my e30, i would like to check it out can the transmission & propshaft fits direct to my e30

as i know the e30 318is has a getrag 240 gearbox! have a look on realoem.com if the propshaft is the same on both cars?

check my posts, I instaled E36 gearbox into my car. It fits almost directly, you have to replace shifter joints from E30 gearbox.

how about the GETRAG 240 from e30 1987 M20b20 L-jet engine ?

can it be direct fit onto the M42 engine ? is the bell housing same design ??
