Engine + Driveline / M42 single mass VS M20 single mass conversion

so i just picked up my single mass flywheel and clutch.
except mine is off of a 86 325es

the flywheel weighs 24lbs and the clutch kit weighs 14lbs

but after i lighten it it should be good.

now i just need to get the 323i throw out bearing and ill be set

oh yeah and i got it for the best price FREE!!!

We replaced the tensioner w/ another M44 tensioner and all is well.  Install the new tensioner in its compressed state.  It will rattle for a second or two and then the noise goes away.

so you installed a new m44 tensioner fully compressed and now the noise is gone?

and all you did was start up the motor to get it to extend?

i pulled my lower pan last week and i didnt have any bolts in my pan. they were all tight but a little under spec.

but i found that my pan is cracked in 2 different spots:mad:

Suspension / eBay spring/shock kits, anyone tried? Opinions?

from what ive read its the same exact spring for both kits.
if i were you id order the vogtland cup kit from purems.com

the vogtland shock are koni's custom valved to the vogtland springs

toe will wear out a tire way faster than camber will. it shouldnt be to bad with h&r sports. on a daily driver id just go with the bushings.
