Running stock class with a COP kit?

I was wondering if I could purchase a COP kit and still have the car retain its "stock" classification in SCCA solo. I tried researching this but couldn't get a straight answer. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong rule book. Any help would be awesome. Thanks
