ACSchnitzer has the best one in my opinion, above the mirror, where the check panel is on the 325 cars. if you use a 1/2" thick mount plate I think you could offset the depth to angle the gauges toward you more than he has, just a thought tho.

^Thanks... I used fiberglass and MDF so that I could angle it just the way you describe.  I guess I could have angled it more though.

Yep, Danny's pod was originally there.  I just took the idea and improved on it by making it sturdier and tilting the gauges to the driver.  Need to cover it in something better than speaker box carpet though...

^Like that too... where did you get the gauge overlays in the cluster?  Been looking for silver or white ones that were decent.  ie non ricer...

I just want to know where he got the gauge needles, or if he painted them.

I took the whole cluster apart and scaned the gauge faces onto my computer and made them how I liked and then printed them out on photo paper, at night they light up completely red looks cool. The needles I just painted with a permanent marker. If your goin to try doing this be very very carful when ur pullin the needles off it will break very easy.

Interesting... what photo software did you use to edit the scans?  I think I'll give that a shot since I have a spare cluster mucking about.
