Changed my fuel filter and took a few pictures of the process in case anyone would like to do this quick and easy routine maintenance. I searched for a diy on the filter replacement however, did not find a working link for a diy.
This easy job should only take about ~15 minutes to complete.
*For safety precautions you may wish to disconnect the battery during this procedure.*
Tools necessary:
2 vice grips
1 Flat blade screw driver (optional, socket wrench and 6mm socket)
1 pair of latex/nitrile gloves
Paper towels
Container to catch spillage

Step 1:
Locate your filter, drivers side in front of the rear wheel well. Use your 2 vice grips and lightly clamp the hoses that go into the filter and exit the filter. Be careful not to tear the hoses, it doesn't take much pressure to block the lines.

Step 2:
Use your flat blade screwdriver or socket wrench to loosen the clamps on the filter, continue to remove the filter from the bracket.

Step 3:
Loosen the hose clamps from each end of the fuel filter.

Step 4:
Install the new filter

Job complete! Good luck!
